Beyond Medicine

Dr. Fuller is happily married and has a daughter and three grandsons, all of whom are cowboys. Two of his grandsons are professional tie-down calf ropers, and one competes in team roping. He enjoys following their competitions across the United States.

A lifelong sports enthusiast, Dr. Fuller grew up playing tennis and skiing. He competed on both his high school and college tennis teams for four years. After breaking his leg in a skiing accident at age 14, he became a national ski patroller, a role he held for 16 years, assisting injured skiers. He continues to ski regularly in Big Sky, Montana, and was among the first to demo the early plastic ski boots designed by Bob Lange of Lange ski boots, who launched his business in Dubuque, Iowa. In addition to skiing, Dr. Fuller enjoys windsurfing, particularly off the coast of Sanibel and in Cabarete, Dominican Republic.

Beyond his love of sports, Dr. Fuller has a passion for architectural drawing, which he pursued while working his way through medical school. He has played the piano since the age of seven and has a deep appreciation for art, a passion that was kindled during his studies in Europe in 1969. Raised with strong Midwest values, Dr. Fuller is known for his ability to relate well to people, and his medical-legal consulting work is driven entirely by word-of-mouth referrals.
